How to take a hot witch walk
So I noticed the #hotgirlwalk trend happening on Tiktok lately
Which, if you're not familiar, is essentially a daily walk where you listen to an inspirational podcast or playlist and you super intentionally only think of 3 things:
What you're grateful for.
What your goals are.
How hot you are.
Which I'm honestly super on board with, though I love this breakdown from Elle Australia which also includes how it can totally become problematic when it carries over into toxic positivity or becomes overly focused on the social media curated-ness of it all.
But I realized I've been doing a version of this for a while that always helped me feel a little extra magical and tapped into my inner witch.
Let's call it the Hot Witch Walk 😘 Here's how I do it...
1. I love putting on a kickass playlist, one that's really upbeat and that I can low key strut around to. Think about how music carries energy, and you get to curate what energy you're tapping into with this.
2. I agree that starting with what you're already grateful for is an incredible way to get you into that flowy, receptive, magical mode. For me, so often the thing I'm most grateful for in that moment is the ability to get outside and feel the sun on my face. Then I let my mind wander to the other things that I'm grateful for and that have been feeling goooooood in my life lately.
3. Then I start visualizing me hitting my goals. So sometimes for me that looks like visualizing me walking through a future neighborhood I want to live in. Or taking a break from a particularly successful part of my business to take this walk. Or imagining that I'm walking back to a future home I want to live in. Let it flow and let it feel GOOD.
4. Here's where it gets extra magical. Once I'm vibing with all the things I'm calling in, I imagine that the sidewalk/path in front of me literally is leading me towards those goals! As if it's lighting up with every step I take, guiding me in the direction of all the things I'm working towards. I let myself really lean into the feeling of the pathway opening up before me, with my spirit support team cheering me on.
5. And then I absolutely think about how hot I am 😘
My suggestion is to do whatever version of this feels good to you. Maybe it's not even a walk at all, and just a sit in the grass under a tree. Maybe it's a run on a treadmill. Whatever it is, let yourself really sink into the thoughts that feel good to you, because magical bb you DESERVE to feel good.
